I Give You My Heart

Happy Wednesday friends!  Today is my first post as a permanent dt for Simply Sassy and I am sooo excited!  Thanks so much to Maria and Karen (Mrs Sugar Nellie) for inviting me back into their sweet dt family :)

I used I Give You My Heart for my card today.  I Just love that sweet expression on her face ... I think she looks like she's missing her special guy :)  I colored this cutie with copics and colored pencils and added a touch of Glamour Dust to the heart on the stick.  I've distressed my papers, which isn't something I do very often.  And for some reason, the distessing looks very orange.  I promise that IRL it's a pretty shade of light brown lol!  I've added a heart doily and a piece of lace beside the image.  I used my punches for the flowers, leaves, and butterflies.  To finish off my card I added a heart charm and some pearls to the flowers.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Stamp:  Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy - I Give You My Heart (from Funky Kits)
Paper:  Memory Box - Gossamer; Bazzill
Other:  Copics, Caran d'Ache and Prismacolor pencils, gamsol, Glamour Dust, doily, EK Success flower punches, MS butterfly and leaves punches, lace, pearls, distress inks, heart charm

Back To School

Hello friends.  My little grandson started kindergarten this year and I wanted to make a special card for him for his first day of school.

I used Lenny Back To School from StampFairy.  I thought this image would be perfect for him.  I colored this adorable bear with copics and colored pencils and added some Glossy Accents to his nose, the pads of his paws, and the apple.  I cut him out and used foam tape to pop him up.  I used my EK Success punch on the backing paper and added a clip at the top.  I wrapped some twine and a button along the bottom of the card.  Then I used some alphabet stamps to add his name to the front of the card.  Zack loved his card and but was mostly interested in the Glossy Accents on the bear's nose and paws lol!

Be sure to stop by the StampFairy shop.  There are additional bears in this collection and they would all be perfect for your back-to-school projects.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Enjoy your day!

Sweet Love

Happy Monday.  It's time for a new challenge over on the Pollycraft Challenge Blog.  Our lovely Jane has chosen the theme and she's asking that we all use some felt this week.

I've used  Swings and Slides - Sweet Love Set on my card.  Aren't these little kids just the cutest?  This image is one of the newest releases and you can find it over in the Pollycraft shop today.  I colored this cute couple with copics and colored pencils and added a little Glamour Dust to their ice cream.  I used a die to cut out my clouds, sponged a little ink around the edges, and then stitched them with some embroidery floss.  The sentiment is also included in this set and I've added a little heart brad.  Please be sure to stop by the Pollycraft Challenge Blog to check out the fabulous creations by the rest of the DT.

Get Well Soon

Hello friends.  It's Friday so that means we have a new release for you over at StampFairy.  You are going to love these sweet little bears!

This poor little sick fella is from the Lenny Get Well Soon collection.  Wouldn't he be perfect to send to a sick friend?  I'm sure this little cutie would bring a smile to their face.  I colored Lenny with copics and colored pencils and added some Glossy Accents to his nose and paws.  I also used Glossy Accents on the band-aid on the sentiment.  I used a touch of Glamour Dust on the stars above his head.  I made the little rosette to set the sentiment on ... I love these rosettes but definitely could have used an extra set of hands trying to get it shaped and glued lol!  I did add some Glossy Accents to the band-aid.  And this sentiment is a freebie from Gerda ... how sweet is that?

Here's the entire new release and you can find it in the shop here.  Please do stop by the StampFairy Blog to check out the gorgeous makes by the rest of the team!  And there's still time to enter the latest challenge over on the StampFairy Challenge Blog ... you could win some free images!

A Rockin' New Release

Happy Wednesday to all of you!  Pollycraft is having a blog hop to celebrate their rockin' new release!

Each of the DT will be showing you sneak peeks of the new images, so there's lots of inspiration in store!  There are prizes to be won at every stop along the way, and four prizes to be won at the end of the hop.  All of these fabulous new images will be available in the Pollycraft Shop on Monday, August 29.

You should have arrived here from Mary J's blog.  Wasn't her card fabulous?  If you didn't come from Mary J's, then go back to the beginning of the hop, Cazza's blog, and follow the stops in order.

I used Swings and Slides - Lil Monster.  Isn't he too cute with his little monster hat and carrying his little stuffed monster?  I used copics and colored pencils to color this sweet little boy.  I embossed the mat behind him and added some twine and a button.  I think this is such a perfect image for a card for a young boy.

Here's the image I'm going to be sharing with one lucky person :)

To be in with a chance to win you need to leave me a comment, and spread our blog hop news by adding our blog hop logo to your blog (either a post or in your sidebar) with a link to the Pollycraft Blog.  Don't forget to leave a comment at each stop along the way.

The blog hop will end Sunday, August 28, at 10 pm (GMT).  I'll randomly pick a winner and announce it Monday morning in my Pollycraft post.  Now, your next stop on the hop is Joey, and you are going to love her make!

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Enjoy the hop and good luck!
