A Cup Of Thanks

( ** Please scroll down for my Sugar Nellie post ** )

Hello friends!  I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.  I've enjoyed the last couple of days - spent lots of time with my family and ate way too much yummy food :)  Today I'm sharing a card I made for my post over on the 7 Kids College Fund Blog.

This card features You're My Cup Of Tea A La Mode by My Favorite Things.  I colored the image with my copics and colored pencils on Neenah cardstock.  The fun papers are from the Park Bench 6 x 6 pad by Fancy Pants.

A Little Ornament

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and got lots of fun crafty stuff from Santa :)  So Christmas has come and gone for another year and I know most of you are probably tired of seeing Christmas cards and projects.  But I do have one more Christmas make to share with you today ...

This sweet little image is WW-Princess and you can find her over at Funky Kits.  I was visiting some blogs a few weeks ago and ran across these adorable ornaments on Suzanne Dean's blog here.  I knew I had seen these frames in my local Michael's and wanted to give them a try.  I colored my image with copics and colored pencils and added a bit of Glamour Dust to her dress and crown.  I also added some pearl pen dots around the image.  I painted the frame with some cream acrylic paint and once it was dry, I glued my image to the back of the frame.  I added a bow and flower, and then some silver cording so I can hang it on my tree.  This was so easy and I love the finished project.  I hope to pick up a few more frames to work on for next year.  My ornament is clean and simple and I will probably add a few embellishments to the next one I make.

On a sad note, this is my last post as a member of the Sugar Nellie design team.  I've been with Sugar Nellie almost three years and I've really loved working with their beautiful images, but I've got a lot going on right now and decided it was best to cut back on some of my crafting time.  Karen (the owner) is a fabulous person and if you ever have a chance to try out for her DT, I would encourage you to do so ... I'm sure you would love it too!

Thank you for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

Well, as my post title indicates, it's really cold outside!  And there's lots of white stuff on the ground.  I can't believe how much cold weather and snow we've already had this year.  Looks like we're in for a long winter around here :(  OK,  I know you didn't stop by to hear me complain about the weather so let me move on to my card.  So today there's a new Tuesday showcase post over on the By LORi Designs Blog.

Featured Stamper on Splitcoast Stampers

Happy Sunday everyone!  Just wanted to pop on the blog for a minute to share what I woke up to today.  I received a message that I'm the Featured Stamper over at SplitcoastStampers!!!

Let me tell you, you could have knocked me over with a feather!  I get so much inspiration from this fabulous resource and it was so heartwarming and such a huge compliment to realize that maybe I inspire others who stop by there.

I stamp and make cards because I truly enjoy the hobby.  It's my therapy ... I can totally get lost when I'm coloring and designing a card ... kind of makes any of life's little day-to-day problems disappear :)  But it's always nice to hear that other people also enjoy our handmade projects.  So, thank you SplitcoastStampers for making my day!

Hugs, Anita
