You Are Practically Purr-Fect

Good morning.  I hope you had a fun weekend.  I got to spend a bit of time coloring a cute image from Neat & Tangled

I've had this adorable Kitty's Favorite Things stamp set for quite awhile and decided it was time to give it some inky love :)  I started by stamping the little heart on a piece of white cardstock to create my own background.  Then I stamped the kitty and colored everything with copics.  This was a quick and easy card and I think it will be a purr-fect Valentine for a kitty lover.

Copics used:
Cat - E33, E31, E30, E50, R11, R00
Hearts - R37, R35

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a great week!

Hugs, Anita

Have A Delightful Day

Good morning!  I hope you're having a fabulous weekend.  I'm sharing a card I made using some adorable My Favorite Things products.

These images are from the Sweet Forest Friends stamp set.  I colored them with copics and then diecut them with the coordinating die-namics.  I stenciled some clouds on the background paper and then diecut a frame using the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frames die-namics.  I diecut the grassy slope using the Snow Drifts die-namics.  I used a black glaze pen on the animal eyes and nose and used my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the little butterfly for some shimmer.  I sent this card to a young lady that is recuperating from foot surgery.  I hope this brings a smile to her face.

Thank you for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

Love You

Good morning.  Today I'm sharing a sweet Valentine card using stamps and dies from Your Next Stamp.

This stamp set is Love and Smiles and it is one of my favorite YNS stamps.  The little animals and sweet sentiments are just irresistible and they make perfect Valentine cards!  I colored the bunny and balloons with copics and then diecut them using the coordinating die set.  I diecut the heart paper using the Stitched Rectangle Die and I used the Circles with Stitching and Piercing Marks Die to cut the white cardstock.  I added some ribbon, twine, and little tag.  I used Glossy Accents on the bunny's nose and Wink of Stella clear glitter pennon the balloons.

I'm entering my card in the Your Next Stamp Sketch and Color Challenge #55.

MarkerPOP Guest Designer

I'm so excited to be joining the MarkerPOP design team as a guest designer.  They have a new challenge starting today so be sure to stop by the MarkerPOP Blog for all the details.

Their challenge theme is Twinkle, Twinkle ... celestial, moon, stars, a night sky.  So I decided to use the adorable Somebunny I Love set by My Favorite Things.  I started my card by using the moon and star images from the set to stamp onto a piece of watercolor paper.   I used distress inks to create the night sky.  I cut the window frame from Neenah cardstock, using an older Memory Box die.  I colored the bunny with copics and used a black glaze pen on her nose.  I used the coordinating die-namics to diecut the bunny.  I stamped the sentiment on a banner I diecut using the Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I hope you have an amazing week!

Hugs, Anita

You Mean The World To Me

Good morning.  I made this card while I was on the Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen DT but never got around to sharing it on my blog until now.  It features a fun stamp set from Pink and Main.

This image is from the Owl Nerds clear stamp set.  This is one of my favorite Pink and Main sets and has several cute owl images along with lots of fun sentiments.  I colored the image with copics and then used the coordinating dies to cut the image.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die to cut the star dp and the sentiment banner was cut with the Fishtail Flag Banner Die.  I applied Glossy Accents to the owl's beak and feet and added some enamel dots to finish my card.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Anita

My Favorite Bookworm

Wow ... I really had to dust away the cobwebs to get to my blog!  I can't believe it's been almost a month since I've shared anything here on my blog.  My mojo took a lengthy vacation and this is the first time I have picked up my copics in forever!!!

I fell in love with this BB Our Story stamp set as soon as I saw it.  Of course I always love Birdie Brown's designs and this little boy reminds me so much of my grandson, who loves to read.  I colored the image with copics and then diecut it using the Die-namics BB Our Story dies.  I stamped the sentiment onto  a banner that I diecut using the Fishtail Flags Layers Stax dies.  My papers are from Echo Park and I added some coordinating enamel dots to finish my card.

Copics used:
Skin - E13, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20
Hair - E44, E43, E42, E41
