Frightful Flight

Good morning!  I've been making lots of Halloween cards lately so I have another one to share today.

This cute hedgehog is from Penny Black and it's called Frightful Flight.  I have had this stamp forever and I'm glad I finally found some time to ink it up!  I love all the little critters from Penny Black and they're some of the first stamps I started "collecting" lol.  I stamped the image on Neenah and then masked it in order to sponge the purple clouds with distress ink.  I also used distress ink to sponge the ground.  I colored the image with copics and used a black glaze pen on the hedgehog's eye and nose.  I stamped some little black bats flying around the hedgehog to finish my card.

Copics Used:
Hedgehog - E27, E25, E23, E21 and E11, E21, E00, E000, R20
Balloon - E08, YR18, YR14, YR12, YR00

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

Snow Much Love

Good morning everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card with an adorable winter image from Sassy Cheryl's.

It's no secret that I adore snowmen!  I love coloring them and I love making cards with them.  If you are also a lover of snowmen then be sure to check out Sassy Cheryl's Illustrations because she has lots of adorable snowmen!  This digi is called Snow Much Love.  I think the cute little kids hugging the snowman is just so sweet and this was so much fun to color.  I printed the image on Neenah and colored it with copics.  I used a stitched scalloped rectangle die to cut out the image and simply layered it onto some red cardstock.  I added some Glamour Dust to the ground to make it look snowy and frosty.  I also added a diecut snowflake that I covered with Glamour Dust, then added a glittery enamel dot to the center.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Anita

This cute little nurse is from the Get Well Soon set.  I colored the image with copics then diecut the nurse and her bottle of pills using the coordinating dies.  I applied distress inks to a strip of watercolor paper and splashed some water to create the lighter spots - love this technique!  I used foam tape to pop the nurse up on a circle of vellum.  I applied some sequins just to give the card a bit of sparkle.  I think this little cutie will bring a smile to the face of someone that's feeling a bit under the weather, don't you?
